At Zero Waste certifcation we take the privacy of individuals seriously and are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to www.zerowastecertification.nl (the "Site"). This privacy policy explains how information collected through the Site is used by Zero Waste certifcation.

We are Zero Waste certifcation ("Zero Waste certifcation", "us", "we" or "our"). Renewi Nederland B.V. is the controller of personal data collected and used through this Site and for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”). This means, in relation to the personal data you provide to us, that entity determines why and how it will be used.

The personal data that Zero Waste certification collects

When you use this Site, or in the context of our business relationship with you, we may collect your "personal data". Personal data collected by automated means

When you visit this Site, we automatically collect your IP address and other non-personal information through cookies. Zero Waste certification will ensure that your privacy rights are protected and that information is transferred in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Currently Zero Waste certifcation does not transfer personal data outside the EEA, but if this changes we will let you know by updating this policy.

Sharing personal data

Where your personal data is shared with our other branches, affiliates, agents or appointed representatives within the EEA, they will only use your information for the purposes for which it was originally collected and in a manner consistent with all applicable data protection laws.

Zero Waste certifcation will disclose your personal information to third parties if required to do so for legal reasons, such as requests from regulatory authorities and government agencies (which may include agencies and institutions outside your country of residence), and to protect our rights, users, systems and services. to protect. In such cases, appropriate measures will be taken to protect your personal data.

Zero Waste certifcation may also share your personal data with third party service providers when necessary to perform the services they provide to us, such as cloud hosting, software, system and website support, data analysis. These external service providers are required to use the personal data shared with them only for the services they perform on our behalf and to treat your personal data as strictly confidential.

Zero Waste certifcation may sell or buy assets in the course of its business activities. If another entity acquires all or substantially all of our assets, personal data and non-personally identifiable information that Zero Waste certifcation has collected about the users of the Site and Zero Waste certifcation's customers may be transferred to that entity. Your rights

In any of the above situations, we may request that you prove your identity by providing us with a copy of a valid ID, in order to comply with our security obligations and to prevent unauthorized disclosure of personal data.

We reserve the right to charge reasonable administration fees for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests for access to your personal data and for additional copies of the personal data that you request.

Policy changes

We may change or update portions of this privacy policy to remain in compliance with applicable laws and regulations or following a change in our internal practices. We therefore recommend that you check this privacy policy regularly for any changes. If we make changes that we deem important, we will let you know by means of a notice on the Site.


Zero Waste certifcation is committed to the security and protection of personal data and will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data provided to us at an appropriate level against accidental or unauthorized destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, disclosure of or access to personal data sent, stored or otherwise processed. However, Zero Waste certification cannot guarantee the security of such information.
